When was the last time your Fund Raiser actually gave someone a warm and fuzzy feeling that lasted a very long time? When people walked away they said “that was the most unique Fund Raiser they have ever been to”. Bake sales and silent auctions are fun but we believe that using the Chair for your unique Fund Raising project is a great way to raise money for your cause.

Are you putting together a church Fund Raiser so a group can go on a mission trip? Is your Youth group doing a Fund Raiser for an individual that needs a medical treatment but can’t afford it? The reason for the cause does not matter, what matters is the vehicle you use to raise the money.

The Plan

1. Decide on the monetary goal for your Fund Raiser.  For the example $5000.00.
2. Decide who in the group can get the message about the chair across to the group you are selling to. (Someone could share a story about how the chair has touched their life or someone can just read the story to the audience then tell their personal story. When you use a personal story it allows for a stronger connection with your audience. I would be happy to help you with a script).
3. Chose the date and time and create the promotional material for your Fund Raiser. (We have templates for posters and invitations).
4. Order the Chairs. (It takes about a week to ship. Call or email for pricing.)
5. For the Fund Raiser display we recommend using a white or purple table cloth to display the chairs. Open a few chairs so people can hold them and read the little book.   
6. It would be beneficial to have a slideshow on a laptop computer or on a large screen in the room. If you are doing a Fund Raiser for a mission trip, the slideshow could be pictures of your last trip or pictures of the people you are going to help.
7. Sell each chair for at least $10.00.  Remember you are not selling an item that has a cash value you are selling a feeling that people can have on a daily basis for the rest of their life. A reminder of God’s Presence.
8. Collect your $5000.00 in a matter of a few hours and go do your good deed with the proceeds from the Fund Raiser. It is that simple.
